2026 Angels Camp Tournament at Greenhorn Creek
Another Angels Camp Invitational at Greenhorn Creek has come and gone.
Everyone from the Men’s Club who attended had a fantastic time. We especially want to thank Dennis Conway for organizing these tournaments for the past 25 years, George Olsen for running the games and keeping them fair and fun, Rob Howe for once again doing a great job with the horse race, and Mickey Wagley and Kyle Finley for creating outstanding meals for 28 guys.
There were drinks, plenty of laughs, and even a visit from former 49er Joe Nedney, who shared some unforgettable stories. Everyone was on their best behavior—except for one person who needed a brief timeout. I won’t name names, but his initials are Kyle.
We sincerely can’t wait to do it all again next year, gentlemen. Hope you can join us!
Executive Committee Meeting: The Men’s Golf Club Executive Committee meets the first Tuesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the Montgomery Center. The next meeting will be on June 2, 2026. MGC Members are always welcome to attend. If you haven’t attended a meeting yet, we welcome you to join us, ask questions, and share your thoughts. We sincerely encourage more members to get involved. See you there!

Format: Scramble, Four-Man Teams, Scores Non-Postable
Signup: May 23 through June 11. Sign up with the Pro Shop either as a team, or individually, and the pro shop will pair you with other players to form a team.
Handicaps: 80% of June 11 Handicap, (per USGA rules)
Flights: Flighted, depending on the number of players
Tees: TBD
Tee Times: 8 a.m. Shotgun.
Scorecard: Turn in signed and attested scorecards to the Pro Shop. The Scores are Non-Postable.
Cost: $52 – This includes green fees and sweeps.
Coffee and Donuts from 6:45 a.m. to 8 a.m.
