We had a record 30 Shonis and a qualifier for a total of 31 players on Tuesday, May 19. It’s exciting to see so much participation. With summer fast approaching and our Director of Golf Scott Steele setting up beginner classes, we expect to see even more Villagers joining us on Tuesday mornings. We’re ready to welcome you.

Olivas resident Pam Lorek played her first qualifying game on Tuesday, May 19 and this gal can play. She was among our low-gross scorers with a 38. We’re all looking forward to a chance to play with Pam.

Low gross for the day was a tie between Ursula Christiansen and Tricia Hardt, who both shot 37. Ursula also posted the day’s low net score 17. New to the Shonis this year, Ursula is demonstrating the experience she gained at her former club, Silver Creek Country Club.

Meg Rogers had a birdie Tuesday on hole 5. Meg was our captain in 2017 and 2018 and our club champion in 2018. It’s nice to see Meg in the winner’s circle again.
