Holes-In-One for May
None… we were so disappointed.

May Eagles

Chang Kim

Chang Kim lit it up on April 29 by recording an eagle 2 on hole #7. That is some mighty fine shooting there. The man can golf his ball! And also congratulations to Chang for being the winner of “Best Player of April 2026” with 120 points.

Now The Age Shooters for May

Larry Angel

Larry Angel has been handling some issues as of late, and he’s only playing at about 65% of his ability. (His words.) You’d hate to play him if he was close to 90%. You would be poorer for it and he’d be destroying the rest of the field. Juss sayin…

Larry scored an 83 on May 6, he shot an 83 on May 25, he fired an 83 on the 27, and finally he blistered an 83 on May 30. My goodness…

Dave Dimmick

And everybody’s delighted that Dave Dimmick is in the Age Shooter section again, because we just enjoy seeing his pictures so much. Once again, “Double D” went absolutely nuts in May recording a 76 on May 20, then slaying the course with a 77 on May 25, and finally annihilating the competition with a 72 the very next day. Yes, he is just that good…

You had better keep your eye on your wallet and possibly keep it in your front pocket if you’re playing Pres Miranda as of late.  This man is totally in control of his game, and he is shooting his age just about every time he steps out onto the tee box. Pres had an 87 on May 6, he had an 85 on May 9, he had another 85 on May 18, and he finally finished up with an 85 on May 23. Good for you, Sir!

Bob Dolci

And finally, we always love to see this poser in the Age Shooter section. Mr. Bob Dolci scorched the course on May 8 with a sizzling 72! The cup must have looked like a bushel basket to him. Stay hot, Bob!

If you would like to see your name and picture posted in the Hole In One, Eagle, and Age Shooter Sections, start playing better golf!

Remember if you record a Hole-In-One, an Eagle, or if you Shoot Your Age, please notify Donald Chaisson at dachaisson@comcast.net. We want to make sure to get you posted in The Villager. And please have a friend take a quick picture of you so we can get your handsome mug in the monthly recognition article.

New Members—We would like to congratulate and welcome a new member to the Men’s 18 Hole Golf Club, Treve Stephenson. If you see Treve out and about the course, please be sure to introduce yourself and invite him to play a round.

Executive Committee Meeting: The Men’s Golf Club Executive Committee meets the first Tuesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the Montgomery Center. The next meeting will be July 7, 2026. MGC Members are always welcome to attend.

If you haven’t attended a meeting yet, we welcome you to join us, ask questions, and share your thoughts. We sincerely encourage more members to get involved. See you there!
