We wrapped up the eight-week 2026 Eclectic Tournament on June 9. The winners will be announced and awards presented at our quarterly membership meeting on June 23.
It was a busy day for our starters as we had three qualifiers today. Celia Schiffner and Nancy Canepa are back after long absences with Celia playing her second qualifying game today and Nancy her first. Susan Howe played her first qualifying round. Susan has been playing on the Par 3 Course with friends for quite some time so she’s familiar with the course. What a fun day welcoming back old friends and making new ones. That’s what being a Shoni is all about.
Leslie Ingham recorded the low gross score of the day with a 36 and low net score of 20. What a round! She’s likely wishing it had been Captain’s Trophy Day. Dee Garfinkle was thrilled to post her best-ever score on our Par 3 Course: a 38 gross.
Mimi Steinhauer completed her 20th game as a Shoni. This qualifies Mimi for the monthly Captain’s Trophy game and our Club Championship.
