June 25 was the date of the club’s Captain’s Trophy play, as it had been postponed from earlier in the month. Winning the trophy was Jane Hong with a net 67, along with Mary Jo O’Neill winning low putts at 29, and Geri Wilk winning closest to the pin on hole 11 at 7’10”. Congratulations to those three ladies on a job well done.
On July 2, we have Captain’s Trophy play along with the second General Meeting of the year at the luncheon. At that meeting, membership will be asked to vote on a By-law change, so everyone should attend if they can.
Due to the Men’s Club Evergreen Invitational being on July 9, 10, and 11, our play day will be on Wednesday, July 8. The Pro Shop has blocked 10 morning tee times, so they should be contacted to reserve one of the spots for ladies interested in playing on that Wednesday. July 25 is the next Saturday Play Day, and the signup sheet will be located in the Posting Room. Also, signups are ongoing for the Member/Member Tournament on August 13 and 20. Get your partner lined up and get signed up!
