We would like to congratulate and welcome two new members to the Men’s 18 Hole Golf Club, Doug Wagner and Bob Thompson. If you see Doug or Bob out and about the course, please be sure to introduce yourself and invite him to play a round.
4th of July Golf Thoughts:
My golf game is like a firework, it looks promising and then disappears into the trees.
Why did the firework get promoted? It was always going above and beyond.
What did one sparkler say to the other sparkler? You’re looking pretty lit today. (Too many birdie shots).
What kind of tees did the American colonists use? Liber-tees.
OK these might have been pretty lame… I’ll try and do better next time.
Executive Committee Meeting: The Men’s Golf Club Executive Committee meets the first Tuesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the Montgomery Center. The next meeting will be August 4. MGC Members are always welcome to attend. If you haven’t attended a meeting yet, we welcome you to join us, ask questions, and share your thoughts.
