July always brings great weather and the Men’s 18 Hole Evergreen Invitational. Since the Evergreen is played Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 9-11, our casual Golf Day was Wednesday, July 8, no birdies, no chip-ins but lots of fun. The gentlemen always help with our Invitational, so we like to reciprocate. A big thank you to the following 2026 Evergreen volunteer ladies: Barb N, Barb W, Betty, Bev, Camille, Carol, Chris, Debbie, Delma, Diana, Donna, Emily, Gail, Gayle, Gloria, Helen, Jane H, Jane S, Janelle, Janet, Janis, Judy R, Judy S, Kathy, Kitty, Laura, Laurie, Lyn, Mary W, MaryAnn, MaryJo, Mazie, Pam M, Pam S, Renee, Sabrina, Sherry, Sheryl, Sue, Susan, Suzanne, Tatum, Valerie, Vicki, Vivian, and Wendy!
July 23 is a regular play day, but more important, it is the day we collect funds to support the Girls Golf Program at Silver Creek High School. Checks should be made directly to the school with the note “Girls Golf Program.” There will be a box on the registration table each Thursday morning, or checks can be delivered to Diana Hallock’s mail tube.
