Because of The Evergreen this week, there were no sweeps for the players, but many still turned out to play golf and enjoy the cool summer weather. The Board met today and there are many exciting things on the horizon.
We have our Charity of Choice event and General Meeting coming up on August 25. The Charity is Hospice of the Valley, and we will enjoy three speakers that can explain all the help they offer to families during a really tough time. More information will be shared over the next few weeks and there will be ways to donate even if you cannot play that day.
Our Eclectic Tournament will begin starting September 1 through November 17, 2026. Renée Woolard will begin selling official scorecards on August 1. The cost is $10, and these are the only scorecards that may be used for the competition. The rules and additional details will be posted in the coming weeks.
The nominating committee will be looking for ladies to fill board positions in 2027 so if you are contacted, please consider volunteering and if you have an interest in serving on the board let members of the nominating committee know.
