EPC and Firewise. A natural partnership with a similar mission of preparing us for emergencies. It’s easy to be apathetic about inevitable disasters, but it isn’t smart and it can be downright dangerous. It can be confusing if you try to prepare on your own, which is why we are here.
EPC has been part of The Villages for decades; Firewise was born in the embers of increased fire danger in California. Today they are moving forward in unison to provide the information and support you need to prepare for and respond to earthquakes, fire, prolonged power outages, or any other emergency that strikes The Villages in part or in whole.
So in the future, you will see articles and projects that reflect both entities in concert. But this is just logistics.
