Once again, the ladies of the Villages 9 Hole Ladies Golf group showed that they not only play golf but show up to support charities that are dear to their hearts. This week the ladies played in the annual charity tournament, chaired by Pam Short and Gloria Lowry. The charity they chose to support was Hospice of the Valley. We are blessed to have the support of this organization as many in the Villages need their support at the toughest times in their life. The ladies that spoke at lunch were inspiring and hopeful.

On the course Pam and Gloria chose some fun tricks and turns to the game that brought laughter and joy to the game. We were fortunate to have Mike Tuft and Jeff Steinberg show their talent at hitting the ball long and straight so we could tackle difficult holes from a new vantage point. Thank you to both, now do you give lessons?

The winners of this fun day took advantage of all the course tricks to put a little green in their pockets while putting a lot of green into the Hospice of the Valley to help those in need.
