Our birthday gals were in the money Tuesday. After dropping the score from one hole Rose Loy won first place in Flight Three and Jan Ehrhardt first place in Flight One. The last Tuesday of every month we celebrate that month’s birthdays by allowing sweeps scores of the birthday players to be based on their best eight holes, thus dropping their highest scoring hole.
Thirty-one players were on the course Tuesday including Mandy McCurdy who played her fourth qualifying game. Fifteen players stayed for our weekly Shoni lunch.
Marty Blinde and I tied for low gross with 35s. Marty also had the day’s low net score of 21. Fifteen players, nearly half the field, scored net par or better. Nice job, ladies!
Sabrina Kupperberg came back from her Alaska trip ready to play. She won first place in her flight. Sometimes a bit of time away from the game is a good thing.
