September Captain’s Trophy Winner
For the second month in a row, Joyce Dorsey won the Captain’s Trophy with a net 21. A new golfer who joined us this year, Joyce has been practicing, and it shows in her game. Judy Rogers and Robin Fish tied for the day’s low gross score of 36. Congratulations, ladies!
Manoli Kelly had our lone birdie Tuesday on Hole 2.
Mandy McCurdy completed her fifth qualifying game on September 1 and is our newest Shoni. Her membership brings our Shoni-year total to 11 new members for November 1, 2025, through October 31, 2026. Our new members are Ursula Christiansen, Joyce Dorsey, Heelie Drury, Susan Howe, Pam Lorek, Mandy McCurdy, Marge Pritchard, Suzanne Roberts, Mimi Steinhauer, Tami Thompson, and Christine VanAken. If you want to learn golf etiquette and the rules while playing in a relaxed, social atmosphere, the Shonis may be the club for you.
