Friday Golf Highlight
On Friday mornings, several of us play the Par 3 Executive Course for extra practice. The highlight of our Friday, September 4, game was the second hole-in-one in a month. On August 4, Jan Trusso shot a hole-in-one on Hole 5, and on Friday, September 4, Tami Thompson made hers on Hole 8. This was Tami’s third hole-in-one; her first two were at Deep Cliff Golf Course. Sabrina Kupperberg was the lucky Shoni who witnessed and attested to the accomplishment.
Club Championship
Tuesday, September 8 was the first game of our 2026 Club Championship, and Joyce Baptiste showed that she is ready to play, shooting the low gross score of the day, a 34. There was a four-way tie for low net. Joyce Baptiste, Joyce Dorsey, Linda McChesney, and Jan Trusso all shot a net 22.
One of the best parts of the Club Championship is playing with the same group for three weeks. Over the three-game series, players build friendships as they encourage and support one another.
